  Crow Wing Lake Campground is lakeside camping at its
finest. For some, camping means loading up the
backpack and hiking into the forest to reacquaint
oneself with nature. However, you don't have to
become Daniel Boone to experience the wonders of
camping. Camping gives families a time to be
together, away from all the distractions of daily
life. Crow Wing Lake Campground offers a variety of activities
for family fun. The campground features a large heated pool, a large
playground area, volleyball, badminton, and
basketball courts, BANKSHOT basketball, frisbee golf,
shuffleboard, and horses shoes, which are all offered
at no charge to resident guests. In addition,
guests
may rent canoes, motor boats, pontoons, Funyak or a paddle boat for
fun on the water. Reservations are accepted and
recommended at least two or three weeks in advance
for weekends between Memorial and Labor Day weekends. |

| Bankshot Basketball | ||||||||||||
The game, BANKSHOT Basketball, has been described as a
combination of miniature golf, basketball and billiards;
and, unlike regular basketball, shooting, running or
jumping skills are not prerequisites for an exciting
game. The game is played by shooting a ball into 18
different stations, which progress in difficulty from
"Conventional Bankshot" through "Chute
Shot" BANKSHOT is an equal-opportunity sport, where
age, sex, size, and strength make little difference.
There is no charge for registered campers to play. |
